PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT:
What a great ending to the 2007 season. Seven trucks, seven qualifiers meet in Louisville, KY for the Truck-Lite Trophy Series Lite-off. It was truly a battle to the end. Mother nature was helping out on Wednesday with warm temperatures and sunny skies for truck judging but decided to turn the showers on for light judging Wednesday night. Even in the rain the spirits of the competitors were not dampened.
Third place for the 2007 season went to Rick Hitchcock with his 2005 Peterbilt 379. Rick did a fantastic job displaying this maroon and white pete. This truck wrote some of the rules on long and low.
Second place for the 2007 season went to Jerry Kissinger from Stoughton, WI this 1991 Mack super liner holds it own pulling a 2006 Great Dane Reefer. Powered by a mighty V-8 this bad boy earns everyone's respect.
The 2007 Truck-Lite Trophy winner out of Caldwell,TX is Truett Novosad with his 2001 Peterbilt 379. This heavy hauler is definitely a heavy hitter. Named High Cotton this blue and white pete was displayed flawlessly right down to the cotton bales displayed on his truck. Truett is well deserving of top honors for 2007.
