Subject: The Great Lakes Fifth Annual Truck Show: Tecumseh, MI, May 30, 31 & June1

The National Association of Show Trucks had it’s second show of the season, this show was held in beautiful Tecumseh, Mi. Light judging kicked off the show Friday night with rain showers thunder and lighting. Mother nature lit up the sky while N.A.S.T lit up the parking lot. Saturday morning opened up with sunshine and clear skies, what a day for a truck show. Joey Holiday provided entertainment that was enjoyed by all young and old . Saturday night, drivers lit their truck’s and cruised thru town showing off is fun once in a while.
Best of Show Non-Working was awarded to Bill and Debbie Morgan from Willis, MI. This father daughter team have done an excellent job displaying Bill’s custom built 2000 kenworth T800S. This single axle KW has a Wild West stage coach theme and light’s every shape, size and color to light the night as he drive’s by.
Best of Show Working- Bobtail was received by Brian and Marie Patrick . These heavy haulers hale from Chelsea, MI. Named “ The Patriot” this 2007 Peterbilt 379 hauls military equipment across the country proudly displaying murals of our country’s heritage.
Best of Show Working-Combination was presented to Phil Knowlan. This flatbedder out of Coldwater, MI is no stranger to the show world. Phil’s 1994 Peterbilt 379 was one of N.A.S.T. top award winning truck’s in 2007 and was one of the finalist in Louisville, KY for the 2007 season.
Brian and Marie Patrick have won their spot to sit in Louisville, Ky in 2009. This is the second Truck-Lite Trophy qualifier out of six that will be competing for Prize money, the Truck-Lite Trophy and bragging right’s at the Mid-America Truck show in March 2009.
