Meca South Florida Truck Show November 7-8-9, 2008: Medley, FL
Press Release

Blue skies, palm trees, warm weather and lots of chrome was the mix for a great truck show. The National Association of Show Trucks had their final qualifying show of the 2008 season November 7th, 8th and 9th. The Meca South Florida Truck show was held at the new Meca Chrome Shop in Medley, Florida owned and operated by Eric and Mario Garcia.

Best-of-Show, Non-Working was awarded to Jorge Castaneda out of Miami, Florida with his Blue 1998 Peterbilt 379. This southern ride with big pipes, drop visor, and lot’s of custom chrome makes everyone stop, look and listen to what this rig has got to say.

Best-of-Show, Working Bobtail was received by Brian Hitchcock with a 1996 Peterbilt 379. Haling from Webberville, Michigan this Pete represents Brian’s heritage with a mural of his mother, father and his log cabin on the back of the sleeper. What an amazing tribute to the Hitchcock legacy.
Best-of-Show, Working Combination. The big dog is back, Jerry Kissinger out of Stoughton, Wisconsin with his 1991 Mack Superliner and Great Dane reefer picks up his third Best-of-Show for the 2008 season and is one of the six finalist for 2008; there’s no stopping this Bulldog when he goes for a walk.

The Meca South Florida Truck show qualifier that will be attending The Mid-America Truck Show in Louisville, KY in March will be Brian Hitchcock from Webberville, MI with his 1996 Peterbilt 379.
