Subject: U.S. Truck Rally and Rodeo: Bloomington,IL, May 10 & 11, 2008
The National Association of Show Trucks kicks off there 2008 season at the U S Truck Rally and Rodeo in Bloomington, IL. This was a new show this year for N.A.S.T. and had a lot of support from the community, vendors and participants. The weather did not cooperate with wind and rain but a good time was still had by all.
Best-of-show Nonworking was received by company owned bobtail, Schneider National out of Green Bay, WI driven by Lowell Wilderman a military vet himself has honored our military for the past year traveling around our country. This 2008 orange Freightliner puts on a magnificent display Honoring the US flag and POW-MIA. Our hat’s are off to Lowell Wilderman, Schneider National and the rest of our men and woman serving in our military.
Best-of-Show Working Bobtail was awarded to Troy Huddleston out of Yale, IL. This Viper Red 1991 Freightliner is one sweet ride; customized from the bumper to the mud flaps Troy has done his homework showing this ride.
Best-of-Show Working Combination was presented to Jerry Kissinger from Stoughton, WI. Jerry’s 1991 Mack Superliner is one big dog that doesn’t stay on the porch long, pulling a Great Dane Reefer Jerry was the 1st runner up in the race for the Truck-Lite Trophy in 2007 and is the first qualifier out of seven that will be attending the Mid-America Truck show in Louisville, KY in March 2009.
