Big sun and big fun at Billy Bob's 7th annual round up September 28, 29 and 30th. A long line of Peterbilts converges on Ft. Worth, TX. Warm weather was quite agreeable for a late summer show.
David Kosor of Dallas TX takes great pride in his Best-of-Show non-working bobtail. This classic style 1972 Peterbilt 359 with dark fenders and Brillion red paint is truly an example of when trucks were trucks and real drivers mastered them.
Billy Hopkins and crew make a return appearance and capture Best-of-Show working combination. Billy hails out of Kaufman, TX with his red 2000 Peterbilt 379 and Dorsey Flatbed. This entire unit is fenced in barbwire pin stripping and can stand alone on any range.
Big wheelbase, big power, big specs all for big freight. This equipment was built for heavy trucking and high cotton. Truett's 2001 blue and white 600 horse 325 inch wheelbase four axle 379 Peterbilt tractor out of Caldwell, TX not only captures Best-of-Show working bobtail but is N.A.S.T. 6th qualifier for the Louisville Lite-Off. All of the Truck-Lite-Trophy Series Qualifiers will be competing at Mid-America Truck Show in Louisville, KY in March 2008.
